    *** had over $800 of fraudulent transactions taken from my account in the last few months due to identity theft. Multiple attempts/pleas via email and phone I kept getting the run around between customer service and the fraud department, each saying I had to contact the other. Finally I didnt give them the chance to dismiss me, I sent in all my evidences of the identity theft including name of the detective handling the case and police department number. They have had evidence that the charges were not mine and they still refused to refund my money. Current is an app. They are not a bank. They are backed by a bank, but still they are an internet company in ******** and back by **********************, a requisition company, part of *********** in ************. Thats how they got FDIC insured. I felt like I was just a number, I never got my money back. There was never an investigation because the disputes would come back denied as soon as I would send them.

    Worst bank I've ever had there holding money from my account even though I provided proof the money was returned they keep leaving the customer service car and telling me different reasons I have received my refund f*** this place wish I could then 1000 negative stars but cant

    I am extremely disappointed with the way Current has handled my dispute case. I reported unauthorized charges and followed every required step, including a formal written request for an explanation and multiple follow-ups via email and chat. Despite being told multiple times that my case was escalated and that I would receive a response within 57 business days, weeks have passed with no meaningful update.Worse, my chat sessions were repeatedly closed while I was actively responding. I received only the same generic denial letter I had already received before, instead of the detailed investigation explanation I requested. I remained patient and respectful throughout the entire process, but this repeated negligence and lack of transparency is unacceptable.I have now filed a formal complaint with the **** and am exploring further legal action. I strongly advise others to think twice before trusting this company with their money.

    Current *****, I've been talking to their nonexistent customer service for almost the entire week and they keep saying"we'll escalate it to our fraud team" then the fraud team comes back with a stupid email saying the their falsely shutting the account down but state no reason and also won't let me appeal to get it back. Don't use current cause they'll falsely shut your account down for no reason and the only way you can contact them is through email

    I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Current. A fraudulent account was opened in my name without my knowledge or authorization. While I appreciate that the account was eventually closed after I reported the fraud, Current has continued to report a negative balance of -$7 to the credit bureaus. This has resulted in a completely unjustified 67-point drop in my credit score.Despite multiple attempts to resolve this issue, including providing proof that the account was fraudulent, Current has not taken the necessary steps to correct the reporting. This kind of negligence is unacceptable, especially when it negatively impacts someone's credit standing for an account they never opened or used.This situation has caused me unnecessary stress and has affected my financial credibility through no fault of my own. I strongly urge anyone considering Current to proceed with extreme caution. If this is how they handle fraud and credit reporting, it's a serious red flag. Im still waiting for this to be corrected and will be escalating the matter further if needed.

    I wish I could leave 0 stars. I had my wallet stolen. Someone used the card, it had $0 in the account I only had overdraft coverage for $25. For some reason they let a $64 charge go through. So I filed a dispute explained what happened. They denied it. Emailed the dispute team. Never heard back. Gave it some time reached out again. They claimed they took disputes seriously & with integrity. Which was a bold lie. Its not hard to see that this charge was fraudulent. The merchant name was a fake name. It was Nouria Store. There is no ************ where I live. Theres no ****** store even in the surrounding counties of where I live. They still refused to put my account back to $0. So I closed the account. This company has no business handling peoples money if they refuse to actually investigate the disputes & try to con people out of paying money back that they do not actually owe.

    My son's account was hacked and a large amount of money was removed without his authorization. We filed a dispute but it was declined. We have since appealed the dispute and provided the requested documentation but have received no response. They asked for approval for two additional fraud attempts following this one which we declined but they did not ask for approval for the first one. We have filed a police report and will likely need to get a lawyer involved to try to get our money back.

    This bank is run by a ***** supporting fraudster and they do not do dispute investigations properly. They assist fraudsters stealing your money by not taking disputes seriously. Im pulling my money out today and going to a different bank and I will leave a negative balance from the payday advance and overdraft; They can pay for the fraud they allow that way. I suggest anyone else using this bank do the same. Your money is absolutely not safe in the hands of these f****** clowns.

    I didn't even know about this bank/financial institution until last week when I get a couple emails saying I opened up an acct with them, which I didn't. Double checked my other financial institutions to see if they had partnered with them, but no connections. I see from a few other reviews here that I'm not the only experiencing fraudulent activity with these jokers!

    Zero stars. Account opened in my name fraudulently. I called customer service to resolve the issue. There is no fraud department, or manager to speak to. They would also not close the account until it was reviewed by an escalation team. So an account sits open in my name, that they will not close until I hear back from them. They have zero to no fraud protection for customers or care for humans.
