I called Chase Bank Credit Card Services to find out why my pay-from account was displaying on the Chase App as an external account with all of the details of my checking, savings, and loan information also displayed.
The first agent did not know why and transferred me to another agent, who sounded like she was in the Philippines (Why is an American talking to an agent in the Philippines?). This agent said that the problem must be a glitch, but she could not rectify the problem, so she would need to send me to a third agent and, eventually, she said I would finally need to talk to a fourth agent in yet a different department.
It was 5:45pm Pacific Time, and she informed me that the next department likely closed at 5pm, but she had already told me that she would transfer me to that department. Why transfer me to a department that is already closed?
After I pointed this out to her, she put me on hold and called someone to find out for sure. Seven minutes later, a male voice came on the line and said, "Ok, thank you. Have a nice day," and then this unknown agent hung up!
I spent 48-minutes of my evening on the phone with Chase: nothing was resolved, nobody knew what they were talking about, and then I caught the end of what was probably someone else's conversation before my call was disconnected.
Yes, there's a glitch all right. That glitch is the customer service of Chase, ***** ***** ****** ******* *********..every DEI-hiring company out there.

Chase charges a $34 overdraft fees for purchases that are over $5. I think this is criminal. Why charge $34 for a purchase of $7? Disgusting.

Complaint Regarding Chase Bank Customer Service – Mishandling of CD Closure and release wire transfer amount.

You all don't have an option of "0" rating otherwise I have given 0 rating!

I contacted Chase customer service to close my Certificate of Deposit (CD) and transfer the funds to my checking account. Unfortunately, the representative failed to close the CD as requested. As a result, a pending check I needed to clear was denied due to insufficient funds — a direct consequence of their error.
Because of this oversight, I was charged both an overdraft fee and a returned check fee. The process was frustrating, time-consuming, and completely avoidable had my request been handled properly. On top of that, I’ve now lost all the interest I had accrued over the past month due to this mishandling.
Another instance of releasing my wire transfer took any calls, days to get thru their messy authentication process!
I am extremely dissatisfied with the service and lack of accountability. I will be closing all of my accounts with Chase and will not be returning as a customer.

This is less about this branch and more about chase as a bank. I was charged $15/mo when my balance dropped below a certain amount on my business account. I never use this account so was moving money out and was never told about this when I set it up. In addition I was told you could set alerts. Nobody informed me of this and I never got a notice when the charge started. This is incredibly deceptive and I hope you get sued like ***** ***** for doing the same thing. Chase is borderline fraudulent and scamming consumers like this for extra charges.

Terrible experience at the Chase Bank located at **** ********** **** ******* **. I went inside this branch location to get a document notarized. I walked to the teller window and asked for a notary. *****, whom is a team lead at this branch location and stated that she is a notary. She had no friendly smile nor welcome shown on her face. I gave her the document she quickly looked at it and stated that I need two witnesses there to also sign the document. I advised her that she would only be notorizing my signature. She went on to argue that I will need two witnesses. So she would not notarize the document. I called my attorney whom stated that no witnesses signature is required for the document to be notorized. I asked to speak to branch manager whom she stated was not there. I called and left the a Branch Manager, **** ****** a voice measage asking that he give me a call and it's been over 24hrs and no call from ****. I left Chase and went to ***** ***** and was greeted with kindness and excellent customer service. The branch manger looked at the document and notorized.

Chase costumer service is terrible. I signed up for their ******** preferred card only for them to significantly devalue the points a few weeks later by removing the card's x1.25 multiplier. Since they also upped the welcome bonus from 60k points to 75k, which is equivalent to the original offer with the original multiplier, I called to see if they would match the new bonus. The agent just said there isn't a button on her computer for that so they can't do anything. Really? So when there isn't a button for something you go tell your costumers oh well, to bad? This is a bait and switch paired with garbage service. I don't think I'll be staying with chase after this.
