    On 8/29/2024 I hired St Louis Tree in ************ ** to cut down a tree. The tree was cut down and fell the wrong way instead of down the hill. The downed tree tore the back rails, spindles, posts, and gate off the porch when it hit the porch. It also smashed 2 sections of my chain link fence and 3 sections of my vinyl fence. The company owner was here when he and 2 other men dropped the tree. **** Cacioppo, Owner gave me a card of his and on the card he stated " I will fix any and all damages from hickory removal accident on 8/29/2024." I have contacted **** numerous times and have all the texts messages that we had about this. He sent me numerous texts about fixing the damage but has not. He had one excuse after another from his truck broke down to his numerous promises that he will be here but never showed up. **** did send his 2 men over who cut the tree down to fix the damage, however you can see in the pictures the horrible job they did, using the damaged lumber to "try" to fix the damage. At one point I just asked for him to buy and bring the new lumber, chain link fence and vinyl fence over and I would have it repaired. Again, he kept saying he would but never ****** property is still damaged, that St Louis Tree caused. I would like the materials to repair it to make it whole or I can get a bid for a company to fix the damaged items, as his crew are not skilled to repair the deck, and both fencing.I have waited almost a month with nothing but empty promises. I have the noted he wrote that he would fix it and I have the endless text messages that he would fix it or supply the materials.****, Owner also told me he was insured for $ 1 million dollars but will not give me his insurance companies name or number. ( I personally don't think he is even insured) **** has complaints and small claims court cases as on MO Casenet. I want the damaged fixed but **** has offered nothing but empty promises.

    I have reviewed the business' response and am rejecting it because: the repairs cost me out of my pocket $1,092.29, however, I am willing to entertain the payment option but I would like a promissory note from **** Cacioppo, Owner, and amounts of acceptable payments to me and the dates of the payments to be made. I will then consider the payment arrangements. On 10/22/2024 after I spoke with ****, Cacioppo, Owner, ST. Louis Tree, LLC, the owner stated he would make a payment arrangement, but never specified the "payment arrangement/amount to be paid or the dates of payments to be made. His assistant ***** did drop off $100.00 cash. The remaining balance is now $ 992.29. 

    After prior repeated attempts and promises to "fix" the damage, then repeated promises to " repair the damage, promises to drop the materials off at my home, none were ever received. When I repeated asked **** for his insurance company name, he would not provide it. I am therefore, skeptical of his "promises" to make payments. At the start of the tree removal he stated he had $ 1 million in insurance in case of any damages. He has yet to provide me with the insurance company information. I can not afford to wait for months to receive the full amount in payments. I am on a fixed income and the labor and material cost were burdensome and will remain a burden until all monies from St. Louis Tree are recovered.. This damage has been a nightmare for me.
