Purchased new windows from Renewal by Andersen in 2021. Noticed a crack in one of the windows in January 2025. Two scheduled appointments, one in February and March, had to be cancelled after waiting for the technician because the sash was the wrong size. Scheduled a third appointment in May, but was cancelled before the appointment due to the wrong sash size (AGAIN!)
Had to call them to schedule a 4th appointment in June and again waited for the technician and no one showed up during the 8am-12 pm time frame.. Called Customer Service and was told that a technician called in sick and they weren't sure who to have service our window, but no one ever called me to tell me this during the 8am-12pm time frame. CS said that they were booked in the afternoon and couldn't promise a technician could come out to fix the crack that day. Was given the option to reschedule, but not feeling very confident that they will actually fix the cracked window on next appointment either. Decided to be transferred to a CSR named Jennifer ***** who is handling our account, but the call was never picked up. The incompetence of this company is alarming and extremely frustrating. Once they get your sale, they don't care about you anymore. I would NEVER recommend Renewal by Andersen to anyone and it shocks me that anyone would want to work for a company with such terrible customer service.

We are very pleased with our new window!!! Yes it was pricey but the change to the look of our home is impressive. Our installers, Corey & Landon did a great job.

Tri-Cities, Washington salesman lied, claiming our windows and doors are difficult to operate. I am a skilled and experienced carpenter and cabinet maker of 48 years. Our windows and doors all operate well. While Andersen windows can be decent, their installation is most often poor. A customer is often left in debt with no net improvement after being taken by Renewal by Andersen marketing dishonesty. Beware.
My direct request, via voice conversation, to Renewal by Andersen for an apology for the dishonesty of Jason ***** was ignored, so I'm posting this warning on the Better Business Bureau website.

I keep calling them to stop mail solicitations. But they just keep coming. When I call they tell me that they will stop in a few weeks. But they keep coming. Right now I’m on the phone trying to talk to a supervisor about my problem. I’ve been on hold for almost 10 minutes. I give up!

We had a window and sliding door installed. We assumed, since all the other sliding doors we have purchased came with screen doors, this one would also.
The installer told us the screen door hadn't arrived yet and it would probably arrive in a couple of weeks. It didn't. We emailed Chelsea and was told we had not ordered one. The salesman said he was trying to save us money. We never asked him for a cheaper price and there was NO mention of an OPTION for a screen door.

I had a patio door installed. Several month later Andersen reached out to me to see if everything was good.
I told them the door was tight and difficult to open and close.
They sent someone out and they attempted to fix the problem. I still was not pleased with the door operation.
They came out again and removed the door and reset it. Evidently the original installer made some installation errors.
Bottom line, the door is now working properly and the original installation errors were fixed to my full satisfaction
I would recommend Renewal by Andersen. They back up there doors and windows and also follow up on customer problems. It may take a while to get complaints resolved but be respectful and polite with the service department. They truly do want the customer to be 100% satisfied.

On March 24, 2025, I received an in-home quote from a Renewal by Anderson sales rep. in the amount of $14695.00. This was to replace a sliding patio door and two corresponding windows.
I suspected at the time that I was grossly overpaying for the project, but agreed to the deal because of my respect for the company and the quality of service they at-one-time provided. The sales rep. assured me that this delay in the installation was due to the fact that every new door and window is custom made, to my home's specs.
After agreeing to the purchase, RbA sent out a
I was disappointed to hear that my installation would not take place until May 27, 2025, but nonetheless, I accepted the offer, excited for the day that May 27th would arrive.
The sales rep. explained that to supplement his initial measurements, a "measurer" would be dispatched to my house within the next week to confirm his initial, raw measurements. That did happen; the measuring expert was here as schedule and obtained what he deemed to be the exact measurements.
May 27th came, and the two installers arrived as scheduled (thank you to both of them). But two hours into the project, the installers were on the phone with the gods from Renewal by Anderson, explaining how the door they were sent here with was the wrong door. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!!
The installers continued with the project best they could, installing the two side windows but obviously, not the door; which I perceived as the centerpiece of the project.
I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH RENEAL BY ANDERSON AND DESPITE OVERPAYING, I HAVE LOST CONFIDENCE IN THEIR ABILITY TO PROVIDE A PROFESSIONAL SERVICE.
I want to be made financially right by RbA.
As of today, no one from RbA has contacted me to discuss their error, or to provide me with a new installation date. They have turned out to be a huge disappointment, and the integrity of their advertising and sales reps is left in significant question.

Renewal By Andersen had RUINED the Curb Side Appeal of my formerly beautiful home! Every time I come home from work and see my windows I cringe. This is due to the incompetence of Renewal by Andersen.
The representative, Tony, who came out to my house to explain RBA Windows and go over the different window choices ONLY matched the color of window frame to the inside of my home. He NEVER mentioned choosing a different color for the exterior window frames. I have never gone through the replacement window process so I was relying on the professional knowledge and expertise of the Sales Rep. Tony only took the time to matched the inside window trim and failed to mention that we needed to choose a different color for the exterior windows.
I found out 2 weeks later, from the Project Manager Lance, (who never showed up to my home before or during the work) that Tony had a Computer simulator that should have been used to show me what my house would look like with different color window frames that RBA had to offer. Had this simulator been used during the consultation I would have been spared this horrific mistake and it would have to help me choose an exterior window color frame . Tony DID NOT bother using this Simulator during our consultation. I WOULD NOT BE SUFFERING THIS TRAUMA OF RUINING THE OUTSIDE ETHSTETICS OF MY HOME IF TONY HAD SMIPLY USED THIS SIMULATOR DURING OUR 3 HOUR CONSUTATION.
Lance, the Project Manger NEVER showed up on site before or during the install. Now that the DAMAGE has been done all Lance wants to do to solve my issue is to put "a Band-Aid" on the problem to make me go away. It does not fix the EYE SORE that my exterior windows currently are.
He wants me to pay Renewal By Andersen in order to fix THEIR mistake!
I should have called Pella Windows. DO NOT USE RENEWAL BY ANDERSEN, THEY DO NOT STAND BY THEIR WORK, THEY MAKE EXCUSES RATHER THAN FIXING THEIR MISTAKES.

      Dear Anderson by Renewal Team,
I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding the behavior of one of your sales representatives who visited my home in the Andover area near 140th LN NW on May 9, 2025, around 6:00 PM.
The representative, a tall white male between the ages of 25 and 35, rang my doorbell. I opened the door and greeted him politely. However, as soon as he heard my accent, he began speaking unusually slowly and in a condescending manner, as if I would not understand him. As an immigrant, I found this behavior disrespectful and offensive.
When I told him that I was not interested, he left without acknowledging my response or offering a polite farewell. This lack of professionalism and courtesy is unacceptable and not what I would expect from a reputable company.
I hope you take this feedback seriously and provide appropriate training to your representatives to ensure respectful and professional interactions with all members of the community, regardless of background or accent.
      Sincerely,
      SR
