      On November 4, 2024 I was invited to do a focus group on streaming services. I participated in the group which consisted of online homework and a zoom style discussion. Despite multiple emails and phone call to the recruiter, I have been given the run around, and now ignored.

      This market research company they offered me $50 for a screening and if selected $200 for an in person study. I did the screener but no payment was issued as indicated . I reached out they told me you were not selected the payment will go out soon so on Friday they send the payment to my email but they had made an error entering my info so it didnt send . I reached out again where is the payment they confirm they entered wrong email and it was in the outbox. I ask could you please send it again and Im told no , you are on the waiting list to do the focus group and we will call if selected. So by them entering my info incorrectly Im denied the payment at that time . So the study came and went . They havent paid me the $50 still and they made sure to tell me I needed to be on stand by for the focus group which I was I need the money. They never called they never said youre good they just let me sit. Ive never heard from them again and now they are dodging my calls and emails. Im asking for $250 . $50 for the completed screener $200 for the focus group THEY repossessed my payment just so I would have to do the focus group . They secured my time they owe me for the focus group. This is common practice for Q- insights Ive had similar issues in the past. They are an abusive business and prey on ********** folks. They put you in a position where they owe you money . They make you beg and make you do all this extra stuff and never pay you for the extra stuff. When you ask for the money or complain they dont pay you and avoid you .
