BBB Ethical Cadet scholarship program awards $24K to students and programs in Arizona

BBB Ethical Cadet Scholarship Winners, JROTC instructors, SRP, Semper fi Heating and Cooling and BBB (BBB)
Twelve exceptional Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC) Cadets and their programs were recognized for their outstanding character and community service by Better Business Bureau Pacific Southwest, Central & Inland California (BBB), Salt River Project (SRP) and Semper fi Heating and Cooling. Each Cadet was awarded a $1,000 scholarship for their remarkable leadership and actions that extend beyond the call of duty.
In addition to the individual BBB Ethical Cadet scholarship, each high school JROTC program also received $1,000, doubling the community impact. JROTC programs will use the money to help with equipment, uniforms and program expenses.
Cadets serve as role models by leading in times of need, doing the right thing even in the most difficult situations, and empowering others through community service. Now in its seventh year, the scholarship has awarded $144K to local AZ high school students and their JROTC programs.

Winning essays showcased the students' leadership, character, and commitment to service. Applications will open on August 1, 2025 on cadet.bbbcommunity.org for the 2025-2026 school year.
